What is the UCIs Ibero-americanas project?

The project is the result of a partnership between Epimed Solutions, a company that specializes in the development of systems for hospital management, and the Pan-American and Iberian Federation of Critical Medicine and Intensive Care Societies (FEPIMCTI), an organization consisting of associations of critical medicine professionals present in 25 countries on the American continent and the Iberian Peninsula.

The importance of having a national intensive care registry

By supporting the creation of national intensive care registries, Epimed Solutions and FEPIMCTI intend to facilitate the creation of a large intensive care database throughout on the American continent and the Iberian Peninsula and, consequently:

Encourage the use of quality and performance indicators in quality management in UCIs.
